Our gemologist Monruedee Chaipaksa found a liquid petroleum inclusion in a pink spinel that may have come from Sri Lanka. The inclusion is similar to other inclusions found in rock crystal quartz from Pakistan. The find was published in the Journal of Gemmology, Vol 35(1), 2016 pp 20-21.
